Western South Asia

No room in the House of Islam has experienced more violence, more warfare, more cruelty and injustice than Western South Asia. Encompassing Afghanistan, Pakistan and Western India, this region has been buffeted by war, and served as a seedbed for terrorism for nearly two centuries.
It is true what they say, “Sometimes the light shines brightest in the darkest of places.” Nowhere is this more true than in Western South Asia, where I heard some of the most remarkable stories of salvation and redemption.
